'Truth'is another huge theme for a poetry competition, and we are hoping for a huge and varied response to it from poets around Australia, and even beyond. A poetic response to the theme could be a poem concerned with the poet's own life experience, or Nature, Science, Politics, or anything! Think about it, and bring your own true ideas to your poetry!

Not all first person poems are necessarily about the poet, and some third poems are actually closely tied to the poet. I feel poets tend to look more carefully at things than non-poets do, and in that looking, can come up with imagery that can say much, in few words ...

Good luck with your own poetic thaoughts, may the be many and varied, and if you send in your very best, you could be amongst the winners!
